This sale involved a gorgeous wall of books – many Star Wars and collectable book sets, a garage full of tools, Railroad lanterns, books and N scale railroad cars, vintage ladies and men’s watches, vintage Fostoria glassware, vintage Pyrex and Corning Ware, Libby Knob Hill glassware, silver serving pieces and wonderful furniture and decor. The client downsized into a retirement community, and we helped them ‘rehome’ their lovely items.

This sale involved items from four sellers, each of which needed to be tracked separately.
Our client, Anna, was transitioning to a retirement community and downsizing her three bedroom home to a one bedroom apartment. She had beautiful glassware and figurines from around the globe, as well as a wonderful collection of costume jewelry.
Her son wanted to liquidate his extensive collection of vintage fishing gear, camping gear, Newton Mfg silhouettes, newspapers and magazines around the death of JFK, a large collection of Hummels and a variety of desirable vintage items. His wife also had beautiful dishware and figurines to ‘rehome,’ and her twin sister had gorgeous mid-century modern glassware and other items to sell.
Using our custom designed excel spreadsheet, we tracked all sales to the penny for each seller and used some creative displays for the items.

Our client was the former husband of the homeowner (who sadly passed away) as well as a neighbor who was gifted all contents in the home. Working with the neighbor, we liquidated the home sorting out items the neighbor wanted to keep, items that the new homeowners wanted to leave in the house, and items of the homeowner that we listed in the sale. We also had items from another seller, which we added to this sale.
There was much careful labeling involved to ensure that each item was tagged correctly. We also had a sweet, very shy kitty named Callie who lived in the home and needed to be cared for prior and during the sale. All was managed well and the sale was very successful. We even managed to get Callie to warm up to us!
